As a Financial Analyst, you will review complex financial and cost data, build cost analysis models, perform cost benefit and cost savings analyses, and design leadership presentations and dashboards. You will work as part of a cross-functional team with clients to translate program requirements into cost estimates by using your knowledge and skills to gather data, document assumptions, and develop Program Office Estimates and Independent Government Cost Estimates.

What You will Do:
As a Financial Analyst on our team, you will:
Perform complex analysis and assessments providing mission support as a finance management expert
Understand and support best practices, policies, and procedures of administrative and financial management
Build, manage, and improve intricate financial and cost models, including Program Office Estimates, financial planning field budget exercise planning, and other cost and ad hoc models
Analyze spend plans and budget estimates, develop program briefs, acquisition documentation, and perform economic analyses
Participate in a variety of programmatic meetings, then make appropriate recommendations to senior leaders and staff
Assist with budget estimates and guidance which allows your client to successfully navigate various reviews, approvals, and program planning processes
Review budgetary obligations, expenditures, and reallocate funding, using the accounting and budget systems for the U.S. Army client
Manage and administer financial policy on Military exercises and planning which include government travel card, procurement, financial obligations, and budgetary expenditures
Provide instruction and guidance on budget and financial procedures
Conduct frequent reviews of financial planning, operational procedures, and measures actual progress of financial effectiveness

You Have:
4 years of experience in an DoD or Government Finance role
3 years of experience performing detailed cost or financial estimation, analysis, or forecasting
2 years of experience with the Defense Travel Service (DTS) funding and management
2 years of experience with General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) reports
Experience with using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Public Administration
Nice If You Have:
Experience with leading support functions
Experience in Microsoft Excel and or Power BI Desktop
Experience with contract financial management and program planning
Ability to pay strict attention to detail
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possession of excellent problem-solving skills
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,300.00 to $149,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
