Key Role:
Provide administrative support to the Insurance Risk Management (IRM) team. Support team members through a variety of tasks related to insurance claims tracking and assist with gathering insurance program underwriting data to be submitted to our insurers. Manage corporate insurance program documentation, including insurance policies, endorsements, binders, coverage confirmations, and other policy documents. Maintain and update the department’s Risk Management Information System (RMIS), including adding new records, updating current records and running system reports as requested. Manage the production and distribution of certificates of insurance for internal and external clients. Initiate and track the payment of insurance premium invoices. Assume responsibility for handling confidential and time sensitive material. Prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines and exhibit flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities, including assisting with special projects as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
1 years of experience in a professional work environment
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, enabling support of responses to internal and external team requirements as well as tracking insurance claim financials efficiently in Excel
Ability to work independently and in a team environment, supporting tasks for the Insurance Risk Management team objectives
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines to ensure corporate insurance program documentation is collected and recorded timely, premium invoices and certificates of insurance are issued within the prescribed timeline, and assigned tasks are completed by the assigned deadline
HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
Knowledge of commercial property and casualty insurance programs and insurance claims administration a plus
Ability to build relationships with personnel of all levels
Ability to provide quality customer service
Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail and organization
Possession of excellent time management skills
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $41,200.00 to $84,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
