What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pega Developer position at Booz Allen?
Key Role:
Design digital solutions, including integration with Cloud Solutions via APIs and implementation in Amazon Web Services (AWS). Analyze business needs, complex technical architectures, and the client’s operating environment to create solutions that meet the immediate need but are built to adapt and scale to tomorrow’s changes. Participate in agile driven, product development teams that implement Pega best practices, including rules based configuration, automation, and process improvements as part of the regulatory mission of the U.S. government. Work across a matrixed team of technical practitioners to architect, design, and implement agency-wide cloud based digital solutions. Identify new opportunities to build digital solutions to help customers meet their toughest challenges.
Basic Qualifications:
3 years of experience with application development
Experience developing Pega applications using Pega 7.x or Pega 8.x
Experience architecting and designing business applications using Pega solution frameworks, such as Pega PRPC
Experience with Design and App Studio
Experience designing enterprise class structure and foundational components
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience architecting and designing Pega-based BPM or CRM solutions for large programs
Experience with object-oriented analysis and design across a variety of platforms
Experience with JavaScript, HTML, React.js, CSS, or Angular.js
Experience with Pega platform version 8.4 or later
Knowledge of Pega system administration best practices
Knowledge of installation and configuration on Pega in using a high-availability model in a cloud environment, including Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure
Ability to identify and design components for maximum reuse
Pega Senior System Architect certification
Pega Lead System Architect certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
