As a communications professional, you know how to inform and engage with key audiences to increase their awareness and understanding of complex, technology-related information. We are looking for a seasoned communications specialist like you, who is eager to share your expertise and embrace our mission every day. Here, you'll apply and advance your consulting skills and experience to create, develop, produce, and consult on a variety of internal and external communication materials and media that enhances our employees' experience.

As a communications specialist on our team, you’ll develop and implement creative solutions to complex problems. Your self-guided yet collaborative spirit will shape and nurture relationships with team members and stakeholders to increase awareness, understanding, and adoption of digital tools, policies, and emerging technologies to support the employee experience across the Booz Allen enterprise.

You’ll author strategic communications plans centered on our employees' needs, as well as develop and edit fact sheets, presentations, messaging, web site content, articles, messaging, internal social media content. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:

  • 3 years of experience providing strategic communications support, including communications planning, presentations, talking points, fact sheets, and newsletters
  • Experience with translating technical topics into understandable and engaging content
  • Experience using all products in the Microsoft 365 suite, including Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or Writing

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience working with external clients as a consultant
  • Knowledge of Booz Allen's culture
  • Ability to display an interest and curiosity in information systems and emerging technologies
  • Possession of strong time-management and organizational skills
  • Change management certifications such as Prosci or CMAP

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
