Overview
The Data Entry Clerk is responsible, in partnership with the supervisor of transportation, for managing the overall day to day tasks of the transportation department.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent and one to two years related experience and/or training; in a similar role.
- Must be able to work weekends, and varying shifts (days, evenings, nights)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Coordinates the activities of the employees in the department
- Completes all necessary paperwork required by Company and Governmental regulations
- Must be able to work with outside vendors, external customers as well as internal customers and treat them with professional courtesy
- Responsible for effective communication via phone and emails to update leadership on delivery status
- Must be able to able to comprehend direction to carry out instructions, and to deal with situations as they occur in a professional manner and maintain a professional attitude.
Must be able to read and understand materials such as MSDS and other OSHA requirements.
Ability to read and interpret receiving documents
