Responsibilities:
- Patrol and secure assigned premises as a security guard
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems
- Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering the premises
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Report any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities
- Provide assistance to visitors as needed
- Maintain accurate logs and records of all activities during shift
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid security guard certificate or be willing to obtain one
- Previous experience in law enforcement, military, or security is preferred
- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Knowledge of surveillance techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment
- First aid and CPR certification is a plus
- Ability to work independently and make quick decisions in emergency situations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
