BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently seeking a Supply Chain Controller to join our PowerDrive System business unit team. The Supply Chain Controller will have Global oversight for all business unit GSM reporting. This position will be responsible for managing a business unit team of 2 and then working together with the various Operational locations on the analysis of complex pricing data, presenting data with usable formats, preparing price impact reports, communicating, and ensuring standardization across various global reporting units. The candidate will utilize their skills to monitor and support our internal BorgWarner Supplier Liability Price Adjustment System and corresponding reporting as well as being responsible for presenting various output results to upper management. This role will also serve as the training lead for new plant hires who fill the similar reporting roles locally. Key responsibilities Assures monthly supply chain forecasts, annual budget and corresponding variance analysis have been completed and are reflective of the most accurate data. Works collaboratively with direct reports as well as global supply chain and finance team members to review data for accuracy and consistency. Ensures compliance with supply chain and financial reporting policies and procedures Provides BorgWarner Supplier Liability Price Adjustment System oversight for the BU, identifying root cause and implementing solutions that maintain a holistic and long-term perspective. Reviews and presents Integrated data from multiple data sources to upper management to assist in strategic decision-making. Partner with leadership in developing enhancements to reporting and or systems. BU lead for global system initiatives related to supply chain Responsible for supply chain system integrations following mergers, acquisitions and restructurings Liaise between business and IT for supply chain systems; drive issue resolution and improvements Creates models to analyze, illustrate and project trends to drive business decisions Prepare ad-hoc reports and presentation materials for the VP of GSM, GSM Strategy Board and enterprise GSM function as required Support initiatives to standardize contractual commodity timing / indices employed within supplier contracts to optimize pass throughs to customers On-boards and offers continual training to new team members and acquisition locations Provides support for supplementary ad hoc supply chain and financial reporting, as well as other global supply chain systems and large-scale project initiatives. Develop new tracking / reporting tools in response to most current business needs. Supervise personnel directly assigned in support of GSM reporting. What we’re looking for Bachelor’s degree in finance or equivalent business-related program, with an emphasis in math and 8-10 years work experience in roles of increasing responsibility. Expert level skills within Microsoft Excel required (VLookup, if statements, pivot tables, ability to data mine and compare large data sets and research issues) Applicant must have excellent quantitative skills and extremely detail oriented with an interest in mining large data sets for accuracy and consistency Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to produce under pressure and manage multiple competing deliverables Ability to take initiative to develop and implement new projects and process to improve forecast accuracy and supporting data trends Self-driven individual, ability to work independently as well as with global team members at all levels of the organization Strong written and verbal communication skills Schedule flexibility to support global team members within other regions as needed (Americas, Europe & Asia) PowerBI and SAP experience preferred Internal Use Only: Salary Global Terms of Use and Privacy Statement Carefully read the BorgWarner Privacy Policy before using this website.
