Security Supervisor Atlanta

Overview

BOS Security is now reviewing resumes for a full-time Security Supervisor in Atlanta.

Primary schedule: M-F, 8a to 4p

$27.50/hr.

The Security Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services to an assigned customer. The Security Supervisor will act as a liaison between customers, the Atlanta Operations Manager and security officers. Reports to Atlanta operations manager with information regarding the site.

Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Supervising a team of security officers and patrols ensuring the best possible service delivery
• Provide coaching, recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range
• Managing team resources to ensure adequate staffing for our customer
• Inducting new personnel ensuring they are aware of site security procedures
• Seeking ways of enhancing service offering by making frequent improvement suggestions, and encouraging security team to do likewise
• Ensuring that training and screening requirements have been met for all team members
• Leading the team in incident management and conflict resolution
• Supervising and monitoring activity on property to deter and prevent theft, sabotage, fire and accidents, etc.
• Responding to calls for assistance, writing reports on various incidents
• Supporting and developing team members in the performance of their duties, managing poor performance as required

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher or 10 years of security, law enforcement, military, or other related experience and/or training.
• Three years of the last 5 years experience in a managerial/supervisory role
• Must have professional communication skills; the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening test and a background check; This position is subject to random drug testing
• Must be computer savvy, have a smartphone, a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be professional and well-groomed.
• Must able to fill-in when needed on any shift.
