Job Description
- Achieve Sales Growth Targets for all BR product at assigned list of Top Priority Customers (TPCs).
- Drive New Business by Developing Additional Growth and Discovery Accounts each year.
- Network Effectively & Maintain Excellent Relationships: External Customers, Distribution Partners, BR colleagues
- Provide hydraulic technical leadership & applications expertise to distributor sales personnel, and regional automation sales colleagues, assist them in selling technology & system solutions over component pricing.
- Consistently and effectively use CRM to document sales opportunities, customer information, and to coordinate required sales activities between regional sales, divisional / market sales, and management.
- Develop pricing strategies per account as required, based on both strategic and competitive considerations.
- Develop basic understanding of other Rexroth technologies (AE / LT / AT)
- Resolve issues and conflicts with customers and distributors where required, with management support
- Perform other essential and peripheral duties as may be assigned
- Travel required – approximately 50% annually (subject to change)
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree* in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or in a relevant field with 4 years of sales experience, OR Associate’s Degree* in a technical field with 7 years of relevant sales experience.
- Work experience in either regional OEM sales, or in a key Market Segment related to industrial hydraulics
- Knowledge of the Bosch Rexroth Hydraulics product line, as well as the machine applications encountered in, and the technical solutions provided to key Market Segments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency developing customer base and generate sales to accommodate regional and business unit goals
- Strong negotiating, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of conducting technical and sales presentations to key clients
- Necessary time management skills to handle a consistently high level of sales activity – including a full schedule of outside sales calls coupled with numerous follow up requirements.
