Job Description
As part of the HR Services operations team, our Payroll Time Analyst ensures the accurate, timely review and reconciliation of hourly, non-exempt, and exempt workforce timekeeping systems to support weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payroll processes. This position is responsible for the development of shift schedules and attendance management systems, maintaining accruals and balances, and the reporting and analytics of time related systems and processes.
The successful candidate will work closely with the rest of the time and attendance team to ensure timely, accurate payments of payroll; in addition to responding to and resolving complex associate issues and questions, or integrating new businesses across the region.
Responsibilities:
- Resolve complex employee questions and issues and ensure the education of the HR services team to triage and respond to simpler questions and issues
- Ensure that time statements and adjustments are processed timely and accurately for employees
- Research and respond to monthly variances related to time accounts
- Support requirements gathering and perform quality testing for new locations, shift models, or other adaptations of the time and attendance system
- Provide specialist support for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures as required
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years of payroll time and attendance process experience
- 3 years of data analysis, forecasting, reporting and reconciliation experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- A demonstrated understanding of time and attendance systems including exempt and non-exempt workforces, multiple shift models, and leave management systems
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing in English; Spanish language competence also desirable
- Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, v-lookups, etc.)
- Strong analytical and technical skills with attention to detail with experience identifying, evaluating, and supporting process improvements
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely at a professional level, both orally and in writing, in English
- Experience working with SAP and UKG Kronos preferred
