Job Description
Job description for ECU Project Manager
- Responsible for Powertrain Control Unit Project management
- Responsible for achieving project objectives of on time, on spec, on budget and on quality deliveries
- Maintain and increase customer satisfaction by appropriate customer communication regarding project deliverables and achievement of customer project goals
- Main interface to customer, Spoke person for the project with all the internal and external stakeholders
- Organize and lead the customer, all the internal meetings to ensure the project deliverables
- Prepare and maintain the project plan, Charter, MCR resource plan
- Project reporting to Project Review Committee (or Sponsor). Defining and implementation of counter-measures in case of non-attainment of project goals, escalate if necessary
- Coordination of HW, SW and CAL deliveries for sample- and series ECU's for production, launch management for the BU product in collaboration with Sys-PjM
- Adherence to company and BU guidelines, policies and legal terms
- Handing-over project to PGrM for series maintenance on project completion (System QGC5 or 6 months after SOP)
- Multiplier and lead as per MAN 3 in ASPICE process
- Risk management ( Identification, evaluation and measures)
- Problem Resolution Management (identification, recording, analyzing, implementation, track to closure, monitoring)
- Coordinate for the change management including requirement management, estimation and quotation
- Support sales and acquisition manager in getting the B-AR/S-AR approvals, baseline.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 5 years of experience of SW or HW development in automotive domain
- 3 years of experience with SW/HW/system project management
- Experience of adopting quality management processes ( e.g. ASPICE) for the software/ECU development life cycle
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience of using planning tools like Microsoft Project, MCR etc
- Experience with development in an embedded environment
- Good communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills related to customer interaction and global, internal cross-functional teamwork.
- Strategic thinking, high goal and results orientation with a proven ability to work under pressure.
- Project Management Professional (PMP or RK PMQ) Certification is highly desired.
