The SAP Project Manager will support ongoing digitalization efforts to reinvent key systems and services that use ERP data to enhance our customers experience and solve our greatest enterprise challenges. This position will work collaboratively with cross functional business units to understand needs, gather requirements, and insure customizing in SAP R3 meets Bosch Thermotechnology’s future needs and vision. The SAP Project Manager will drive TT’s future S/4HANA project and related modules to ensure Bosch Thermotechnology’s needs are fulfilled. The SAP Project Manager will play an integral role in opening new warehouse location for Bosch Thermotechnology in the US.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Works with organizational leadership and stakeholders to document or develop project scope, goals, and deliverables including project dependencies, project plans, budget, and resource capacity.
- Develop technical specifications and contract documents; Manage the work of vendors to successfully implement projects, manage relationships and contracts, and monitor performance and compliance.
- Be the SAP process expert in WM, IM, SD, etc. Work with internal and external departments to develop enhancements in our regional SAP system. Create and submit specifications for small IT orders, small change requests and follow complete life cycle from request to fulfillment.
- Establish a scalable and flexible project management methodology to foster consistent, effective, and efficient project execution; Run project meetings and supervise project stakeholders and contractors; Effectively establish and manage stakeholder relationships and expectations; Escalate issues/concerns to management in a timely fashion as appropriate.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, deliverables, and performance within necessary systems, (OneNote, WebEx, MS Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word); Develop reports and management presentations using a variety of tools.
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about progress, adjustments, and strategy; Communicate and coordinate between internal and external vendors and different departments.
- Identify risks with ongoing or proposed development projects to ensure goals and objectives are met and to provide mitigation strategies to reduce or eliminate the identified risks.
- Travel Expectation: Up to 25%
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years of SAP experience with warehouse management experience in WM and IM. Experience/knowledge of SD sales and distribution.
- 3 years of experience building and explaining business cases to internal users and partners across business units and central IT.
- 3 years successful experience leading business consulting and technical project initiatives, resulting in superior technical and business deliverables.
- 3 years of experience with Business Consulting and IT Project Management approaches and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience/knowledge of the following: Microsoft Server IIS, Microsoft SQL, APIs, Microsoft CRM, Single Sign On “SSO”
- Proven ability to complete IT projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills, with a variety of audiences
- Excellent teambuilding, time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of project/program/portfolio management methodology and strategy
- Proven ability in managing difficult and/or sensitive situations
- Proven ability to predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
- Highly self-motivated and directed
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to constantly adapt, learn, and support new methodologies
