Job Description
SHIFT: 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Paid Lunch)
SUMMARY
To ensure the finished goods are picked, packed, and loaded onto the transportation vehicles at the allocated times, quantities and properly documented.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Identify shortages and reconcile inventory problems. Monitor stock.
- Scanning product into Customer's order to process paperwork.
- Transmit Shipping Notices to customers upon departure of carrier.
- Access various customer systems to verify customer receipt of shipment notices.
- Maintain packing material for various parts and customers.
- Wrap and band finished goods to customer specifications.
- Manage carriers and loads as necessary to meet customer window times.
- Ensure needed stock is in inventory.
- Work close with production planning, ensure quantities are produced in time.
- Pull, pack and label product for service requirements to multiple customers.
- Move material and create orders in SAP.
- Update and maintain manual dispatch/SAP log.
- Communicated and support planners/schedulers.
- Maintain good housekeeping and 5S practice.
- Ensure Health & Safety regulations are being adhered to.
- Ensure PPE is worn at all times.
- Adhere to Company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
High School Diploma
EXPERIENCE
- One to five years' experience in manufacturing and/or assembly operations
- Office Administrative experience
- Previous fork lift experience helpful, willing to learn (be certified)
