The Regional Manager is responsible for opening and training personnel at new locations.  Ensure Shops are operating as profitable and efficient as possible with the high degree of continuity in operations, pricing and service.

Boss Truck Shop offers on-demand pay (access to earned but not yet paid wages) through:

Responsibilities

• Serve as trainer at new shop locations for extended periods of time (30 days).
• Orient new shop employees with the way Boss Truck Shops operate to insure the same level of quality services offered across different locations.
• Fill in as manager at locations when vacations occur or loss of manager.  Also when extremely short handed at locations.
• Assist in inventories as shops as they come due rotation to different locations.
• Follow up on inventories and correcting areas of concern.
• Assist in maintaining proper retail products at all locations.
• Fluent with POS system along with some knowledge of computers, printer and their operation.
• Assist in scheduling and setting up training from vendors, manufacturers as well as DOT training, tire training, etc.  Ongoing training is very critical for Boss Truck Shops to stay competitive in the ever changing industry.
• Handle warranty claims as they arise and direct through proper channels.
• Follow all OHSA and Safety Standards set forth by the company policy and procedure manuals.
• Follow all shop inspection standards given on inspection form.
• Ensure a high level of cleanliness is maintained at all shops and company vehicles.
• Evaluate locations Profit and Loss statements and address any problems with the Shop Manager as they arise.
• Evaluate expenses and margins at locations to assure they are reaching their budgeted goals.
• Ensure all shop personnel act and look professional in accord with the policy manual.
• Provide friendly and competent customer service.
• Report for work in a timely manner when scheduled.
• Travel and hotel stays are required at minimum 50% of the time.
• Follow Safety Manual & Policy/Procedure manual as described.
• Ensure personal and location LMS training stays current and up to date.

Additional Job Duties:

• Assisting in other duties, as assigned.

 Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Directly supervise 5 or more Service Center Managers.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience (include certs or licenses needed):

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or five to eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have a working knowledge of the shop industry.
• Must have some knowledge of the tire industry.
• Must have the ability to read and understand monthly P&L statements.
• Must have the ability to read, follow, and implement budget controls.
• Must have reliable transportation and phone.
• Able to furnish own tools to perform work.
• Current valid driver's license and be insurable to drive.
• Work a minimum of 50 hours per week consisting of some 5 ½ day work weeks with the bulk of your time in the facilities.
• Must be able to communicate in English. – IF APPLICABLE
• Able and willing to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.
• Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members.
