The Information Systems Manager, Sponsored Programs is directly involved in and oversees all operational, functional, and administrative aspects of the PeopleSoft Financial system, specifically, PeopleSoft’s contracts, grants, and billing/accounts receivables modules. This position has primary responsibility for assisting OSP Sponsored Programs Administration Teams with OSP software needs and pertinent technology applications (e.g. NIH Commons, NSF Fastlane, InfoOffice’s Sponsored Programs modules), and a variety of electronic applications available from federal and state agencies, foundations, and corporations.
This
position provides direction on analysis, scheduling, testing and implementation
of all OSP software application fixes, upgrades, new releases or additional
PeopleSoft modules. The Information Systems Manager assists
OSP Sponsored Programs Administration Teams and departmental staff, as needed,
in determining and planning resources and priorities related to the
implementation of new technology projects.
As
part of an OSP cross-functional team, the Sponsored Programs Information
Systems Manager participates in implementation partnerships for all OSP
technology projects. This position will be OSP’s direct contact person with the
Boston College Financial Management Services Department and work closely with
the Boston College Information Technology Department.
Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $80,850 to $101,050; salary commensurate
with relevant experience.
