To execute this transformation, we need people within our Change Management Chapter who will develop and deploy Change Management and Communication expertise to support Tribe and Squad objectives and outcomes. The Tribe’s scope includes platforms such as ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, WalkMe, Adobe Sign, Pega, and UIPath.

The Change & Comms Lead brings Change Management and Communication knowledge, expertise, and experience collaborating with delivery teams. You will work with a team of experts deployed in the Squads to support the delivery of BCG’s IT & Business Platform’s digital products, using your experience to maximize business engagement and impact. You will also partner with other Change and Communication Managers in the IT & Business Platforms Tribe as well as the Change and Communication Centre of Expertise to identify, leverage, and contribute to best practices and lessons learned.

Among your responsibilities, you will:
  • Contribute to the development of the IT & Business Platforms (ITBP) Tribe, working closely with Product Owners, Squads and colleagues from the Change Management and Communication Chapter and COE to
    • Develop and deliver the Agile Change Management and Communication approaches for ITBP products, embedding the products into the business and realizing business benefits
    • Conduct Stakeholder Assessments, identifying key stakeholders and areas of focus, and develop Stakeholder Engagement and Communication plans to address and mitigate risks
    • Conduct Change Impact Assessments, identifying risks to delivery/adoption, and articulate practical and actionable mitigation activities
    • Understand the short/mid/long term roadmaps, and proactively identify and clearly articulate upcoming change and marketing priorities to support the roadmap
    • Develop and deliver both tactical and strategic Communication Plans, aligned with the overall Change Management approach and designed to support the adoption of ITBP products
    • Review, write and send both tactical and strategic communications at ITBP Squad and Tribe levels using the most appropriate channels
    • Develop and deliver Training & Enablement approaches, aligned to the overall Change Management approach, and designed to support the adoption of ITBP products
    • Develop and continuously update coaching/training methodologies and guides, working closely with other trainers/coaches and relevant departments in BCG where overlaps and synergies are present
    • Identify, baseline and track Change Management KPIs and metrics in accordance with the ITBP tribe OKRs
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, designers, and vendors to facilitate change activities
    • Share expertise with squad members and work cross-functionally to increase squad members T-shaping
  • Contribute to the development of the Change Management Chapter to
    • Provide coaching, mentoring, guidance, and knowledge transfer to other Chapter members
    • Promote Change Management best practices and continually seek to improve the Chapter ways of working
  • Contribute to the development of the Change & Communication Centre of Expertise by
    • Participating in CoE knowledge sharing sessions to identify and apply learning opportunities for the Chapter
    • Contributing to the Change & Communication knowledge library with best practice deliverables, tools, and templates
  • Champion the organization’s Agile mindset by
    • Modelling behaviors to support the organization’s transformation to a new way of working
    • Actively creating and maintaining a positive culture within the Chapter and the Tribe based on Agile leadership behaviors
    • Contributing to expanding the understanding and practice of agile principles and values within the organisation
  • Change Management in an Agile context, comfortable with both planning and delivering
  • Managing ambiguity and solving complex problems
  • Setting and driving strategies independently with minimal manager supervision and taking ownership of projects end-to-end
  • Adopting the end users’ perspective and bringing that lens to the table
  • Identifying, managing, and influencing stakeholders
  • Engaging effectively with any stakeholder level (senior, MDP…), type (technical, non-technical) and group-size (1:1, small/medium/large groups…) both in-person and virtually
  • Working with a virtual team spread-out across time zones in a multi-cultural environment
  • Learning new skills and capabilities, e.g. products, technology platforms
  • Bringing accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Prioritizing and working in a fast-paced, collaborative and service-oriented environment
  • Bringing a data-driven approach to decision making, both in day-to-day management and in making strategic trade-offs
  • Driving change, teaching, coaching, mentoring, and collaborating with others in business and technology
  • Identifying innovative solutions by displaying flexible, adaptive, and creative mindset and strong business intuition
  • Focusing on user experience, understanding pain points, and paving a seamless path for customers
  • o Committing to cross-functional collaboration to achieve the best results for the organization
  • 7 years of experience in tech-driven Change Management roles
  • Proven track record of leading through influence, building long-term relationships and partnerships to realize Tribe’s vision, priorities, and objectives  
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and comfort working within rapidly changing environment
  • Proven experience in delivering enterprise-level IT and Digital projects in fast-paced environments with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven experience working in an Agile operating model (Scrum, XP, Devops…) and championing Agile mindset adoption
  • Change Management Professional certification a plus
  • Experience in consulting a plus
