What are the responsibilities and job description for the Events Amplification Manager position at Boston Consulting Group?
You will work with the Global External Relations Senior Manager to create and deliver multichannel internal and external communications campaigns around BCG's presence at flagship events such as WEF Davos, Cannes Lions, etc. You will work with stakeholders to set the narrative and define key pieces of content, and work with internal marketing teams, such as social media, media relations, email, video production, and web, to create and elevate content for maximum reach and impact. You will project manage the end-to-end delivery of the communications plan from brainstorm to execution and measurement. You will work with the channel managers to innovate and create unique experiences for audiences, internally and externally. You will enable local and practice area marketing teams by communicating and distributing information and being a point of contact to ensure clarity, consistency and delivery as the campaign is activated.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
- You have exceptional attention to detail and excellent project management and organization, with a high degree of flexibility, reliability, and the ability to work under pressure
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to effectively interact with all levels of the organization, including senior stakeholders in a global, complex, and virtual environment
- You have an audience-centric understanding of various communication channels
- You have experience managing multichannel campaigns around topics or within the context of large third-party events, i.e. Davos, COP, Cannes Lions
- You have a demonstrated ability to effectively juggle competing priorities
- You are able to perform successfully and in a positive and friendly manner in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment in keeping with BCG's values and culture
- You have a "whatever it takes" team player and collaborative attitude
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- Undergraduate degree from a respected institution required
- At least 5-7 years professional experience with a focus on partnership management, marketing, communications, ideally in a professional services firm or a global media organization; international experience a plus
- Experience with communications platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics, Adobe Analytics, Marketo etc. a plus
- Very strong written and spoken English language skills
YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will have broad contact across the global marketing functions as well as Practice Area and local marketing teams involved in the associated projects as well as with the Managing Director and Partners involved in event activities
