What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Assistant position at Boston Consulting Group?
WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Operations Assistant's primary responsibilities are to provide support to the local office department teams: Finance, Ops, Office Services, CDC/Staffing, HR and Recruiting teams, interact and work effectively with staff, and represent BCG in a manner consistent with BCG's value statement.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
You have meticulous attention to detail and follow-through, and you perform tasks with high degree of accuracy and efficiency. You have excellent organization and time management skills; ability to meet deadlines; ability to handle competing priorities and to work effectively in a challenging, fast-paced environment. You are a flexible team player with solid customer service orientation and qualities. You have the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times, exhibit good judgment, and work independently.
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- Business experience in a corporate environment required
- Previous BCG experience strongly preferred
- Computer proficiency in Windows, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook required.
YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will work with department functional teams. The department functional Teams provides support to the local Washington Office team members, and hosted team members from other functions within BCG.
