BMRHC is seeking a highly skilled HIT Analyst at our Marshall Administrative location. As an HIT Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare information technology systems. Your primary responsibilities will include providing IT support, particularly in the realm of electronic health records (EHR), and assisting with various technological needs across the organization. Travel is a requirement for this position.
Essential Duties:
- Provide comprehensive IT support, including troubleshooting and maintenance of devices, IT networks, hardware, and telephones.
- Act as a key liaison between IT and healthcare staff to ensure efficient use of technology in patient care.
- Attend EHR and other relevant trainings as required to stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to implement and optimize electronic health records systems.
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to improve HIT functionality and usability.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Information Systems Management, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with electronic health records preferred.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements associated with UDS.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
