About the Role

Stage Assistant employees assist the Technical and Production Staff with basic stage requirements and related elements for rehearsals, special events, programs, and performances at Symphony Hall in Boston.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in setting up and striking stage extensions and risers
  • Assist in loading and unloading of production equipment vehicles
  • Assist in lighting, audio, and video installations

Required Education and Experience

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Basic knowledge of stage equipment (risers, road cases, etc.)
  • Good physical health and the ability to perform strenuous physical work, lift 75 pounds
  • Must be puntual and reliable
