The Project and Operations Assistant reports to the Project and Operations Manager of Questrom Marketing & Communications (MarCom). With broad knowledge of marketing and communications and an awareness of the on-going work of the department, they are one of the initial points of contact for project requests from the Questrom community. They work with the Project & Operations Manager to ensure that all projects are accounted for in the project management software, and track all projects from receipt to fulfillment and delivery. They would also generate quarterly reports of all projects received and break down of scope of work/time for each project. They manage day-to-day work on the departmental budget, including shopping carts, ISRs, SAP, budget reconciliation, providing quarterly budget reports and working with the Project and Operations Manager on annual budget planning and end-of-year budget settlement.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of the creative process and MarCom operations
- Familiarity with WordPress
- Ability to read and review copy and do simple editing and proofreading
- Good understanding of visual design
- Fluent with basic MS office software
- Experience overseeing a significant budget
- Experience with SAP/Ariba
- Enthusiasm and capability to master new processes and technologies
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and collaborative
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to negotiate solutions on all levels, efficiently and effectively
- Ability to multi-task is a must
- 3 years professional experience
- BA/BS preferred in communications, multimedia/visual communications, marketing, higher education or related field preferred.
