Title: Senior Accountant
Location: East Brunswick, NJ 08816
Duration: 3-6 months contract to hire

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Reporting to our LG Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for different tasks from Accounting to Reporting and Analysis, Audit and Examinations, Banking, and more. Everything you do will contribute to the performance of our department and overall success of the company. Be ready to:
Prepare and post general ledger journal entries to ensure accuracy of financial records
Posting/Analysing monthly inventory cycle counts
Prepare and analyze account reconciliations
Prepare reports detailing expenses as required
Prepare financial statements (monthly and annual)
Provide follow-up and documentation of significant variances
Assist with external audits (complete requested material, prepare assigned schedules, etc.)
Qualifications and Skills:
5 years experience in accounting
Thorough understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, always focusing on deadlines
Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills with ability and desire to solve issues
Active listener, clear thinker, and team player attitude with ability to influence (significant presence and credibility)
Unquestionable integrity
Minimum Qualifications
Required Bachelor s Degree in Accounting and 3 years experience.
Infor and Sage experience desired. Beginning to intermediate skills required in MS Excel and Word.
Good interpersonal and leadership skills to gather information from and work with multiple levels in the organization.
