The HR Benefits Supervisor is responsible for administering our employee health and welfare benefit offerings, assisting with general human resource projects and tasks, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory benefit requirements while providing excellent customer service to our employees.

Responsibilities:
Lead the administration of health and welfare plans including enrollments and terminations.
Process required documents with benefit providers to ensure accurate record keeping.
Manage third-party COBRA administration, and assist with administration of 401(k) retirement plan.
Ensure team members’ understanding of benefit programs, and counsel team members on plan provisions so that individuals can make informed benefit decisions.
Involved heavily in Benefit Open Enrollment including plan designs, renewal negotiations, plan documents/contracts, and communications with carriers and team members.
Manage Affordable Care Act (ACA) administration and distribution of 1095-C forms.
Conduct human resources related projects as assigned.
Requirements
Demonstrated knowledge of principles and practices of benefits and/or human resource administration.
3-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of COBRA, ERISA, FMLA and related state and federal employment regulations
Attention to detail in composing, reconciling and proofing materials
Able to establish priorities, manage multiple projects at one time and meet deadlines.
Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills, specifically Excel.
High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
Knowledge of office administration procedures.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
