A Non-Profit organization that is dedicated to providing affordable housing for seniors and disabled person is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and operations of their properties in Santa Clara and Campbell, CA! The Facilities Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of 6 staff, including housekeepers and maintenance technicians, across two buildings located 5 miles apart.
The ideal candidate will be organized, highly empathetic with strong leadership skills and be comfortable handling emergencies or other interruptions that might come up. Pay Range: $38 - $39/hr DOE
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor a team of 6 staff, including housekeepers and maintenance technicians
- Schedule and ensure timely completion of quarterly, semi-annual, and annual fire safety equipment testing
- Monitor and manage chiller and boiler systems for efficient hot and cold functionalities
- Coordinate and distribute service requests from residents among staff
- Utilize RealPage / OneSite software for maintenance orders and property management
- Work closely with maintenance staff to ensure proper maintenance and repairs with attention to detail
- Stay informed on market trends and guide the team through industry changes and challenges
- Uphold a polished demeanor while handling resident concerns and operational challenges
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and car insurance
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in facilities management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Office, and Excel
- Vaccination with 2 doses and willingness to comply with mask-wearing policies at the facility
- Experience in senior living, apartment living, or community living with multi-family is preferred
- Familiarity with affordable housing or HUD regulations is preferred
