A well-established e-commerce company is seeking an Inventory/Managerial Cost Accountant to join their team in Tustin, CA. The company develops curated collections that include home goods, toys, fitness supplies, and more. The ideal candidate will have three or more years of inventory cost account and management experience preferably in the ecommerce industry. The Inventory/Managerial Cost Accountant will be responsible for monitoring inventory and finding discrepancies. Day to day duties:

  • Coordinate with other departments on completing projects
  • Assist other departments with improving their processes
  • Allocate costs by location
  • Inventory reconciliation
  • Comparing the difference between warehouse entries and what is logged into net suite
  • Calculating inventory costs accurately
  • Month-end reporting on inventory
  • Inventory appraisals and audits
  • Traveling to fulfillment centers

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of inventory cost accounting experience required
  • 3 years of management experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proficient in Net Suite is a plus
  • Eager to learn
  • Excellent leadership skills
