What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Analyst II position at Bowhead?
Bowhead seeks an NMCI IT POC to provide support for the Information Technology (IT) and facilities requirements of Navy and Marine Corps Small Tactical Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program Office (PMA-263) at NAS Patuxent River, MD.
Responsibilities:
Essential functions will include:
Provide Information Technology expertise and management for NMCI PC’s/Printers and SIPRNET equipment, and coordinate requirements with PEO (U&W). Provide NMCI program and SIPRNET updates and information.- Provide conference room support including supporting the set up/operation of audiovisuals, Web Conferencing (TEAMS), and obtaining conference call in numbers.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance requests for printers, scanners, legacy computers, mobile phones, and conference room equipment through NMCI and the Base Telephone Office. Track the logging of repair requests and the corrective and preventative maintenance performed on existing equipment and systems.
- Coordinate cell phone ordering, assignment and setup through the Base Telephone Office.
- Track the completion of the System Authorization Access Request – Navy (SAAR-N) form for government personnel.
- Submit new user requests for NMCI and FLANKSPEED accounts, as well as NMCI hardware
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements:
- BA/BS degree (May substitute 6 years’ applicable work experience for degree)
- 3-10 years relevant IT experience in an DoD office environment. Program Office experience preferred.
- Teams and SharePoint knowledge required.
- Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift up to 15 to 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
- Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
