LITIGATION LEGAL ASSISTANT

New position for a Litigation Legal Assistant at one of our established clients. If you have administrative or paralegal experience this is a GREAT opportunity.   This is a direct hire position with an excellent compensation package. A successful candidate would already have worked a minimum of three years in a fast-paced firm focused on litigation matters.  After 90 days, partial hybrid schedule to allow working from home.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support attorneys in a prestigious law firm specializing in general litigation, torts experience preferable
  • Ability to draft correspondence to judges, attorneys, expert witnesses, etc.
  • Docket deadlines.
  • Format pleadings and correspondence.
  • Schedule depositions, hearings, conference calls.
  • E-File documents in State and Federal Courts.
  • Assist with document management and file organization.

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in the area of litigation in a law office.
  • Knowledge with State/Federal court filings.
  • High proficiency in MS Suite, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to think and act independently.
  • Articulate, organized and a team player with excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Compensation:

  • Excellent salary 75K to 85K based on experience
  • Benefits Included (medical, 401K, dental, vacation, wellness time off, etc.)

  • Previous experience as a legal assistant or other legal field
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
