Production Assistant

Boxcar is looking to add a Production Assistant & Delivery Driver to our roastery team!

At Boxcar Coffee Roasters our mission is to uplift lives and we do this in part by working day in and day out to roast exceptional coffees, and provide our wholesale and retail customers with the best experience possible. Our small, dedicated team of coffee professionals makes this possible, and we strive to provide everyone here with the resources and support to learn and grow.

The Production Assistant is responsible for packaging and delivery of orders, weighing green coffee batches, and helping to maintain a clean & organized roastery. This position involves daily interaction with wholesale partners, Account Management, Service and Roasting teams all working to provide our customers with the best possible experience.

We're looking for the right person to fill this role immediately. This position will start at 3 days per week - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 8am-4pm.

-Valid driver's license and ability to safely drive in varying conditions

-Ability to manage and prioritize daily and weekly tasks

-Able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly

-Able to stay positive and focused in a dynamic and fast paced environment

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

-Weigh batches for daily roasting

-Package and ship coffee and merchandise

-Deliver roasted coffee and cold brew to wholesale accounts across the Front Range

-Operate and maintain coffee roasting equipment

-Set up and participate in regular cuppings

-Help maintain a clean and organized roastery space

-Take on other tasks and duties as assigned
