Responsibilities
The Snowmaker's typical job functions include:
- Loading, transporting and set up of snowmaking equipment on ski hill
- Checking hoses, nozzles, pipelines, valves and other related equipment for repair or adjustment
- Repositioning equipment periodically to direct snowfall to other designated areas
- Monitoring, recognizing and adjusting production of snow as needed
- Cleaning dirt and frozen snow from equipment
- Recognizing and correcting unsafe equipment, placement of equipment and/or working conditions
- Performing proper snow quality checks
- Utilizing snowmobile safety operation guidelines
Qualifications
This position may be for you if:
- You are at least 18 years old
- Achieved a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- You are available to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- You enjoy working outside in various weather conditions
