What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sugarloaf Public Safety Dispatcher position at Boyne Resorts?
Overview
Sugarloaf Mountain Corporation is now accepting applications for a Public Safety Dispatcher within the Carrabassett Valley Police Department and Sugarloaf Security division. The role of this position is to answer and dispatch calls for the local fire, police, rescue, and security departments.
Applicants will need to have availability for days, nights, weekends and holidays. Previous experience not necessary as we provide on the job training.
This is a full-time, year-round position that is eligbile for benefits and seasonal bonuses.
Responsibilities
The following are some of the dispatch duties, but are not limited to:
- answering the telephone
- dispatching police officers, fire department, ambulance, and other emergency services to calls for service
- monitoring an alarm computer for Sugarloaf Security and recognizing proper responses for the alarm system
- creating work orders for the alarm technician
Qualifications
Applicants must be a high school graduate, possess a valid driver’s license, and have no criminal record.
Familiarity with the area is preferred.
