Our 8 Week Summer Program is seeking enthusiast, responsible individuals to join our team! Our goal is to provide a fun, safe environment where out teen members are provided the opportunity to engage in programs that empower our members to reach their full potential.
This part-time opportunity requires you to be available Monday - Friday from 7:30 5:30pm. Must have transportation to and from work, be reliable, honest, and be able to work with teen members. Must be at least 21 years old. Must have a positive attitude and be able to work well with others.
1. Participate in Pre-Employment Training.
2. Work as a team with other staff members to ensure all teen members are well cared for and supervised at all times.
3. Promote and stimulate interest and participation of all teen members in activities.
4. Greet parents and/or care providers at drop-off and pick up each day. Remember that you are representing our program and act accordingly. Answer any questions they have or direct them to a supervisor.
5. Must have a valid driver license.
6. Assist in the planning and implementation of a daily program/grant funded programs that will meet the needs of the members in attendance; set up the program, project, and activity areas as needed.
7. Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for members.
8. Attend and participate in all staff meetings and training.
Skills/Knowledge Required:
Prior experience with youth/teens, preferred
Ability to plan, organize and implement recreational activities.
Driver's license with a clean driving record
Physical Requirements/Work Requirements:
High energy level. Ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, mature and flexible. Good reasoning abilities and sound judgement. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
