Hours: Monday-Friday Split Shift (6:30 AM - 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM - 6:30 PM)

continuous 8 hour shift in Summers and on non school days (winter break/spring break)

The Boys & Girls Club of North Kitsap is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time, year-round Youth Development Professional.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Youth Development Professional (Elementary) will:

• Provide direction, affirm positive behavior and act as a role model to youth.
• Provide a safe environment through active supervision, setting clear expectations and maintaining clean program areas.
• Visibly enjoy working with children and teens and having fun while helping members build confidence and skills
• Contribute to the creation of the Club’s overall climate for youth development and success
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, staff, and community members
• Maintain a good reputation and moral conduct outside of work, in the community and on social media.
• Transport youth to and from school.
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• 23 years of age or older - Required
• Pass a National Background Check – Required
• Have a clean driving record
• Some experience working with youth – Preferred
