Job Profile Summary
The Retail Planning Analyst is responsible for creation and implementation of fit for purpose network plans for bp’s US retail network of fuel and convenience locations. The network plan is essential to ensure bp’s retail portfolios are optimized to deliver maximum value by ensuring all retail locations are fit for the long term and there is a prioritized road map for growth. The Retail Planning Analyst will also be responsible for maintaining tools & systems that provide the platform for geospatial network analysis and retail location sales predictive modelling.

Role Accountabilities:
- Support the development and implementation of an integrated approach to network planning across bp’s US retail portfolios in order to identify prioritized areas for growth and identify practical strategies for each retail location in order to high grade the portfolio
- Own accuracy of network planning reporting & distribution and pursue digital solutions to expand capabilities and/or improve efficiency.
- Drive standardization, simplification and effectiveness of Network Planning processes across all geographies.
- Lead the retail site growth roadmaps for the east and west coast retail portfolios with a specific focus on maintaining & improving the growth roadmap for the west coast and crafting & implementing a growth roadmap for the east coast.
- Drive fit for purpose agile retail location strategies that optimize the network and give line of sight to potential existing site acquisitions, divestments, and channel of trade changes.
- Serve as the fuel and store forecasting technology (Kalibrate) subject matter authority, driving evolution of process and accuracy of top line assumption metrics.
- Continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the geospatial network planning tools & systems including rationalization of platforms currently in operation.
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant business experience.
- Experience working in a brick & mortar retail business.
- Strong MS-Office products skills and willingness to acquire new skills
- Strong interpersonal skills including power of persuasion, assertiveness, and ability to motivate other
