Working Capital & Cash Manager

• Manage the working capital and cash performance of the Americas integrated business, including performing independent analysis, challenging the business and driving changes to optimize cash delivery
• Responsible for the in-year and long-term performance management of working-capital & cash-flow forecast and cash delivery
• Monitor integrated performance, challenge and recommend interventions to mitigate financial risk around working capital and cash
• Develop sustainable working-capital improvement programs and implement with the relevant stakeholders/business
• Provide assurance around cash & working capital categorization, ensure compliance to existing control frameworks and policies, and develop guidance
• Provide insightful and timely analysis of both actual and forecast information
• Enforce and ensure silent running delivery of regional monthly, quarterly and yearly cash targets
• Independent understanding of working capital and cash performance and challenge to identify business and financial mitigations to improve in-year cash performance
• Preparation and execution of ad-hoc analysis (e.g. face-to-face and leadership meetings) as requested

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA and/or MBA preferred

• 6+ years of related experience
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a delivery orientated environment
• Good knowledge of cash and working capital reporting concepts, drivers, performance management techniques, tools and metrics
• Ability to leverage data and analytical techniques to develop insights and facilitate understanding & decision-making
• Leadership skills needed to drive integration, process improvement and standardization agendas
• Highly effective team member with proven ability to deploy a variety of communication styles according to the audience and interface effectively with stakeholders and peers to drive alignment
• Strong interpersonal, networking, communication and presentation skills and able to make a significant contribution to the cash management agenda

• Experience in one or more elements of an integrated business
• Familiarity with SAP
• Strong business background and experience; oil industry experience
   

The Working Capital Americas Performance Manager (Working Capital & Cash Manager) is a member of the Planning and Performance Management team, a key reporting team within Finance.   This role is accountable for managing the working capital interface with our Trading & Shipping organization, as well as lead the Resource Allocation Network, providing insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders in support of business performance reviews and decision making. The role will develop the quarterly forecast and annual plan, as well as manage vulnerabilities and opportunities to protect Group value and maximize cash. This is an excellent opportunity to drive improvements in cash forecasting accuracy and cash delivery across the integrated Americas business.

This is a critical, high-visibility role with accountabilities for cash management and driving favorable working capital outcomes.  The Working Capital Americas Performance Manager will work collaboratively and cross functionally with our Production & Operations, Mobility & Convenience and Customer & Products entities to manage cash levers.
