Superintendent

Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Oversee and document daily on-site activities, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Team Leadership: Direct and manage field personnel according to project plans, providing guidance and constructive feedback to maintain high performance.
• Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with the Project Manager regarding project progress, challenges, and milestones.
• Scheduling: Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining the project schedule, ensuring alignment with client expectations and contract requirements.
• Safety & Quality: Conduct safety pre-construction meetings, implement site-specific safety plans, and perform regular safety inspections. Ensure all work adheres to quality standards and project benchmarks.
• Subcontractor Management: Manage subcontractor performance, ensuring alignment with project timelines, quality expectations, and ethical standards.
• Problem Resolution: Quickly identify and resolve on-site issues, coordinating with the Project Manager and General Superintendent to find cost-effective solutions.
• Project Closeout: Oversee subcontractor closeout processes, manage punch lists, and ensure a smooth transition to the client.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent with a strong track record in managing construction projects.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and handle competing priorities.
• Strong leadership abilities and the capacity to work well under pressure.
• Knowledge of quality and safety standards.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with team members, clients, and subcontractors.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly job site.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
