In addition to our assets, we also consist of agent carriers and a brokerage division to support our clients. 

The Logistics Coordinator works in the BPX Logistics Client Service Center. This role is responsible for tracking and confirming all client shipments and providing problem resolution for any client’s need. The key responsibilities of this role are to provide clear and concise communication, troubleshoot client concerns, and monitor the movement of freight to ensure client satisfaction proactively. Organization and the ability to problem solve is essential to this position.

Responsibilities:

• Develop strong relationships with carriers, clients, and Sales Reps.
• Work with client contacts to understand their logistics needs.  Soliciting freight and providing spot rates.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
• Manage clients’ shipments and update BPX technology to reflect the current status of loads.
• Work with Carrier Development Representatives to ensure shipments are covered with the best practical option.
• Communicate any transit issues to respective parties.
• React with a sense of urgency to solve problems and look for ways to improve operational inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with team and manager to develop ways to improve      BPX Operations.
• Execute daily operations based on the level of service guaranteed by BPX Logistics.

Requirements

Our Ideal Candidate Is/Has:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous client service or call center experience preferred.
• Minimum of three years of transportation experience in a 3PL setting.
• Two years of logistics/brokerage experience preferred
• Must have excellent PC skills and ability to operate efficiently.
• Ability to handle a high volume of calls in a stressful, fast-paced environment.
• Must communicate clearly and concisely.
• Demonstrated ability to listen and "hear" the customer's concern so that the appropriate response is given.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain professional conduct in a fast-paced and stressful environment
• Ability to work effectively in a team, people, and results-oriented environment.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, including expressing complex concepts clearly and concisely using proper grammar.
• Ability to handle challenging or irate clients professionally and calmly.
• Effective listening and negotiation skills.
• Well-organized with the ability to set and execute priorities.
• Excellent typing skills and knowledge of PC applications with the ability to work with multiple screens and interfaces.
• Must develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of third-party logistics and brokerage.
• The position requires extensive use of computers.
• Ability to sit in one place for long periods.
