ROLE DEFINITION – Lab Inspector
What to expect:
This position holds a key role within the organization. It is necessary that the applicant is on time and reliable. Hours will be 6 AM to 2:30 PM Monday – Friday with occasional weekend attendance required. Time available the applicant assists production on the shop floor. Key qualities we look for in an applicant are to be trustworthy, honest, reliable, self motivated, and proactive.
TASKS
Conduct duties as assigned by the Plant Quality Manager
Maintain a clean and organized laboratory
Maintain and comply with ISO/QS quality system.
Inspect product as required to print.
Ensure that documentation is maintained to appropriate specifications.
Complete, post, and maintain inspection data as required.
Assist in Corrective / Preventive Actions for discrepant material and customer complaints
Conduct internal audits.
Assist Quality Manager with customer quality issues.
Train other personnel in quality areas.
Complete product certifications.
Assist Quality Manager/Operations Manager/General Manager in other assigned tasks as needed.
Attend quality meetings as needed
Preform equipment uniformity surveys
Preform equipment system accuracy tests
Preform equipment atmosphere carbon tests
Review completed work orders for correct documentation
Assist with production as assigned
