Accounts Payable and Production Data Assistant
Bradford Forest LLC, a leading hardwood lumber and dimension parts manufacturing company situated in the rolling hills of Northwestern Pennsylvania, is looking for an initiative-taking Accounts Payable for our Bradford, Pennsylvania facility.The Accounts Payable and Production Data Assistant will be responsible for matching invoices to requisition forms, process/verify/reconcile invoices, entering vendor invoices. This position will also use the company’s ERP system to process production and inventory transactions.
Job Responsibilities
- Coding and allocating invoices to the appropriate departments.
- Entry of accounts payable invoices.
- Responsible for processing checks, matching remittance slips with checks, mailing payment to vendors, and filing paid invoices.
- Maintaining accounts payable files and schedules.
- Research and respond to clients and vendors with billing inquiries.
- Enter lumber receiver data into the ERP system.
- Enter lumber production data into the ERP system and complete inventory adjustments.
- Accurately enter, track, and organize data in Microsoft Excel
- Assist the Senior Staff Accountant with a variety of tasks as needed.
- Handle special projects as requested by management.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years accounts payable preferred
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
- General Math Skills including understanding of applying percentages, computing discounts, multiplication, division, adding, subtracting, etc.
- Strong computer skills with basic technologies such as email and Microsoft Office applications.
- Proven judgment/problem solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task, organize multiple assignments and establish priorities.
- Must have strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
- Reliable individual with excellent attendance record.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Demonstrate and maintain a positive, team-oriented work ethic.
Pay & Benefits
- Competitive hourly starting wage of $17.00/hour
- Pay will be commensurate with prior relatable experience.
