Position Overview : As a Molder / Coremaker you will report to the Mold and Core Supervisor in Tacoma, Washington. You will be responsible for making, finishing, and closing molds.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Make molds in accordance with work instructions
- Assemble and close molds
- Operate arc welder as required
- Operate cranes as needed
- Keep work area clean
- Alert supervisor to any safety or quality issues needing attention
- Alert supervisor to any maintenance needs
- Recommend process improvements
- Participate in special activities, projects, and programs in order to support Bradken’s safety, quality, and productivity goals
Qualifications :
- Ability to work with limited direct supervision
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Experience :
- Prefer previous molding / foundry experience
- Must have good written and oral communication skills
Physical Requirements :
- Must be able to use arms, hands, legs and feet in repetitive motions
- Able to twist, stoop bend, and stand in the performance of job duties
- Must be able to lift 55 pounds repetitively
- Must be able to stand and walk on concrete floors and uneven surfaces for the duration of the work shift
- Must be able to climb ladders and stairs
- Must have good vision and depth perception
- Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including respirator
Pay Range : $22.63 - $29.54 / hr (Depending on experience)
Shift : Monday - Friday, 6 : 00am - 2 : 30pm (Must be flexible for OT)Applicants must be either U.S. citizens, green card holders, or permanent residents of the United States to be considered for this position.
