We are seeking a skilled, energetic, and experienced Service Manager to join our team at our shop in Halethorpe, MD.

This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, strong communication skills, and a passion for boating and customer service. Additional experience with bookkeeping and parts management is preferred.

Duties:

• Receive parts orders from technicians and place parts orders with suppliers
• Track parts and distribute to service technicians
• Organize and categorize parts physically, as well as, using the accounting system to properly assign. Reorder consumables as we run low
• Work order creation, updates, and closeouts. Receive service requests for customers and create work orders in database
• Answer phones and scheduling service calls
• Scheduling day to day for technicians
• Invoice creation
• Creating jobs in time tracking app for accurate billing
• Errand running and part runs
• Tracking receipts and billing to applicable jobs
• Misc. tasks around the shop
• Additional items as assigned

Experience:

• Previous experience working in the marine and/or auto industry or boating experience in general.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
• Must communicate well with clients and techs
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Pay: $41,600.00 - $52,000.00 per year
