Meat Market Team Member/Customer Service

Bradley's Country Store in Tallahassee, FL is looking for Meat Market Team Members to join our team!

We are located 12 miles North of Bradfordville Road on Centerville Road at 10655 Centerville Road, Tallahassee, FL 32309.

Our ideal candidate is highly experienced in customer service, works best with a team, and is self-driven, motivated, and reliable.

Job Description:

Bradley's Country Store is a family owned and operated business that is locally known for our old-fashioned country smoked and fresh sausage that are still made on site to this day.

Candidates must have customer service experience and work well with others. They must be courteous, willing to learn, and detail-oriented with full time availability. We are looking for candidates that are willing to work hard with their team members to help uphold the standards created.

The Meat Market Associate will work 30-40 hours per week. Candidate must be at least 18 years of age or older (equipment - knives, saws, and other tools) to cut meat down into smaller portions. Will weigh, price, and package cuts and sausage links.

Our ideal candidate is expected to have excellent communication skills and willing to learn a strong understanding of sausage and meat quality, cuts, and preparation. Must be prompt and reliable.

Responsibilities:

*Greeting and speaking to customers in a professional manner; providing excellent customer service *Communicate with customers to determine their needs; provide advice regarding proper cuts or amounts of meat and preparation methods *Cutting and preparing meats for sale *Sanitation of tools and equipment used on a consistent basis *Ensure displays and signage are attractive and eye-catching *Weighing, packaging, pricing products, and completing customer orders *Adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines *Preparing sandwiches and other lunch items based on customer specification *Assist in stocking and organizing of items throughout the business

Qualifications:

*Customer service experience required *A strong team player that works well with others *Strong understanding of meat quality, cuts, and preparation is a plus *Excellent customer service and communication skills *Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds *Must be willing to work some Saturdays and during Holiday season *Food Safety Certification is a plus *Reliable transportation is a must as we are 6 miles North of Tallahassee
