Job Summary and Responsibilities
Brady Ware, which is comprised of five individual companies is seeking a motivated individual to support the organization’s internal accounting functions. This position will work closely with the Firm’s Controller/CFO to support Firm initiatives including client/billing database management and reporting, financial forecasting and operational metrics tracking, preparation of the monthly financial reporting package, payroll, A/R and A/P and other financial administration items.
. Requirements:- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance
- Minimum of 3-5 years of recent accounting experience
- Working knowledge of Sage 50/Peachtree and CCH Practice Management, preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
- Strong quantitative and analytical competency to support a dynamic business. This role will have responsibility for compiling and completing detailed analyses of various Firm indicators to aid in the decision-making process
- Ability to receive direction from multiple leaders and pivot and prioritize appropriately
- Knowledge of Accounts Receivables/Payables
- Experience with processing payroll, specifically related to multi-state/multi-location requirements
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Skilled in written and verbal communication, detail-oriented, and disciplined to work independently
- Capacity to develop, implement and train others on new processes and procedures
