A growing family-owned manufacturing facility located in the north Brainerd Lakes area is looking for Plant Accounting Manager. Please review below to see if this might be the right opportunity for you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in month-end close, including preparation/coordination of monthly journal entries and account reconciliations. Assist in weekly and monthly forecasting activities including payroll.
  • Support preparation of month-end, quarter-end, and annual financial reports
  • Support local Operations & Finance Teams with daily/weekly/monthly operational & financial metrics.Update weekly/monthly forecasts.
  • Support annual budget activities including labor and overhead expenses, standard costing of products and raw material purchase variances.
  • Assist local Engineering/Operations with capital projects approval requests.
  • Coordinate local product costing, payroll, A/P, and fixed asset management.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
ABOUT YOU
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a focus in Finance and/or Accounting
  • Ability to work solo as the key accounting person for the company.

* 5 years of Manufacturing Accounting experience* Experience with standard product cost accounting

  • Experience with M1 accounting software is extremely helpful
