Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced IT Systems Engineer with a specialized focus on Windows software distribution. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, implementing, and managing efficient software deployment strategies across our Windows-based infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement new patch management strategies for Windows servers to ensure system security and compliance
Package and customize software applications for seamless deployment using leading industry configuration management tools
Utilize Windows scripting languages to automate software deployment processes and streamline repetitive tasks
Design and deploy scalable and robust Windows-based solutions to meet the organization's business needs
Collaborate with other teams to integrate software deployment processes with overall IT workflows.
Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related experience
Proven experience as a IT Systems Engineer with a specialization in Windows operation systems
Knowledge of software deployment tools, such as SCCM, WSUS, Intune or similar technologies is a plus
Strong scripting skills, particularly in PowerShell
Experience with application packaging and customization for Windows environments
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Advanced German and English skills
