THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a full time, in-house contractor job. We need a fully dedicated resource, you may not have side jobs.
Key Qualification and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering or related field
Proven experience as an app developer
Proven experience in Mac OS platforms
Proficient in Objective-C, Swift and Cocoa Touch
Extensive experience with iOS Frameworks such as Core Data and Core Animation
Knowledge of iOS back-end services
Knowledge of Apple’s design principles and application interface guidelines
Proficient in code versioning tools including Mercurial, Git, and SVN
Knowledge of C-based libraries
Familiarity with push notifications, APIs, and cloud messaging
Experience with continuous integration
Functional Skills
Strong aptitude for computer languages and coding
Strong communication and organisational skills
The ability to interpret and follow technical plans
A creative approach to problem-solving
Intimate familiarity with Android SDK, testing frameworks, and build tooling
Experience with Dependency Injection, modern architectural patterns, and IOS best practices
Passionate about learning and building with the latest and greatest in IOS
Working knowledge of the mobile landscape, architectural patterns, trends, and emerging technologies
A sound understanding of Git, branching strategies, pull requests, and continuous integration
Excellent time-management skills.
