THE OPPORTUNITY
Requirements
● 4 years of product management experience
● Experience launching products on a global basis
● Comfortable with remote work in a startup environment
● Working with tools like Slack, Zoom, Linear, Airtable
● Highly empathetic team player with demonstrated leadership skills
● Presentation skills are a plus
● Ability to initiate and author requirement specifications for hardware and software products (PRDs)
● Previous experience with managing product teams
● Previous experience with:
● The AWS ecosystem
● Docker and containerization
● CICD methodologies
● Hardware development experience is a plus
● Proven ability to digest both high-level business and detailed technical requirements and effectively communicate both types of information.
● Prior experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) areas like profile management, authentication, authorization, password management, encryption, two-factor authentication, Biometrics, WebAuthn and FIDO standards, and risk-based authentication is a plus.
● A Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline is a plus.
● High sense of ownership, urgency, and drive. Proven track record of getting things done and managing multiple tasks including communication with internal and external teams, while consistently delivering on schedule.
● Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to adapt your message to the technical level of the audience(developers, product managers, and senior business leaders)
● A plus if the applicant has Spanish language proficiency but not mandatory.
What you’ll be working on
The Product Manager will share responsibility for product vision and planning and manage the development of the Keyo product line. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with a variety of internal teams (engineering, design, business development, customer success, and C-Suite) to ensure well-rounded products are launched in the market. The candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills and be ready to work with a fully remote staff worldwide. Product management experience is required for this role.
The position will include the following:
● Executing the product roadmap, creating specs, and negotiating requirements with stakeholders (internal and external).
● Frequently updating product requirements and managing product requirement-gathering processes.
● Working closely with the C-suite for product positioning and deployment strategy.
● Understand and share market responses to drive product requirements via customer use cases
● Convert stakeholder needs into detailed product requirements/specifications
● Collaborate with the marketing team on product positioning, specs, and messaging
● Successfully support cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and marketing, to deliver solutions that grow company position and revenue
● Nurture partnerships with third-party contractors, software agencies, and hardware providers.
