We are actively recruiting for a Bilingual Parts Counter Person for our Premier Westchester Toyota Dealership Location in Yonkers, NY.
The Toyota Parts Counter Person is responsible for assisting customers and mechanics in finding and ordering appropriate parts for repairs and upgrades to their vehicles.
Toyota Parts Counter Person Responsibilities

Responsible for welcoming customers with a warm and sincere greeting

Ensures excellent service standards and maintains high customer satisfaction

Assists all customers in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner, provide price quotes and other information

Informs customers of companion part requirements and specials to ensure that they are exposed to the full product line

Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts that need immediate attention

Determine availability, create parts requisition, and submit order as required for non-stock parts.

Accountable for customer backorder status.

Ensures that returns parts are properly tagged for organizational efficiency.

Perpetual inventory is to be conducted daily, weekly or as needed (per Manager)

NO part is to be left on or around your work area. Parts need to be given proper bin locations physically and in CDK. You will be held accountable for missing parts and inaccurate bin quantities.

You are responsible and will be held accountable for any unpaid open invoices and open special order requests under your employee number.

It is your responsibility to receive payment from customers and/or obtains credit authorization. Ensuring all cash, credit, charge, purchase order, invoice and tax-exempt sales are processed in accordance with company policies and are accompanied by required documents.

Respond in a timely fashion to all parts inquires via email, telephone and ecommerce.

Incoming phone calls must be answered within 3 rings, missed calls equate to missed sales. Answer phone calls by following set scripts, procedures and document all required information.

Receives and ships parts in accordance with company policies.

Deliver parts as requested.

You are responsible and will be held accountable for your performance results and achieving monthly objectives

Help maintain department cleanliness and professional appearance.

Punctuality: adhering to your schedule and allotted break times is essential to department operation.

Cell phone use, is to be kept to a minimum. Phones are not to be visible to the customer or technicians. We understand that in case of emergency you may need to use your phone, those calls should be attended to away from your station.

Previous Toyota Parts experience preferred

Must be able to work Saturdays
