Summary: Responsible for the implementation of all Braman’s routing processes. Supports the Operations team by providing optimal routing solutions in order to minimize cost, miles, and hours to increase efficiency. Exercises discretion and independent judgement with respect to routing solutions for the company. Acts as a liaison between all Braman departments and provides on-going support and consultation to the Operations Team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Designs, creates, and implements optimal routing solutions for final mile delivery
  • Maintains, updates, and manages routing activities and databases
  • Tracks, monitors, and measures the benefits of the implemented reroutes through ongoing monitoring and communication with the field
  • Provides project support on various initiatives, analysis, and operations projects
  • Coordinates the data collection efforts and implements standard operating procedures for data collection required for all routing processes
  • Works with  Area Managers to improve the routing process
  • Recommends streamline processes and process improvements throughout projects and team meetings
  • Implements performance standards for reroutes
  • Builds productive working relationships to work collaboratively
  • Willingness to expand expertise, knowledge, and skills for routing software and analytic reporting
  • Receives general instructions on routing work, projects, and assignments

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to accomplish each essential function satisfactorily. Must be able to work well independently and in a team setting. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or High School Diploma with three years operations experience preferred
  • Prior experience with routing software preferred
  • Shows confidence in presenting to large groups
  • Strong analytical skills and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Solves Problems. Makes seasoned judgments; views issues from multiple perspectives; uses systematic, logical, objective approaches to problem analysis; uses data and facts to solve problems, weighing options carefully.
  • Intermediate level skills in Excel and Word
