Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

Works in the plant in support of one of the departments such as repair, tear down, or the receiving dock. Follows manager’s direction of the duties to be performed. Generally does not operate power tools such as saws and nail guns, but may be required to fill in for tool operators based on manager’s direction.

Work requires operator to stand and walk for long periods of time. Operators must be able to repeatedly lift a pallet weighing 50-75 lbs.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Utility Tech must have physical strength, hand-eye coordination, and endurance. Tech must also be able to concentrate on their tasks. The ability to understand and communicate information is also essential

 Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or its equivalent.

Preferred Skills

2 years previous experience working in an industrial, fast moving setting with industrial machinery
