We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Plumbing Designer who is passionate about providing plumbing and medical gas designs for healthcare. This individual will be responsible for preparing designs, calculations, and specifications for plumbing and medical gas building systems. This role will be intimately involved on building projects from design development phase through construction administration and close-out. Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in plumbing design for Mechanical Building Systems
  • Skilled Revit, BIM and CADD user

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform all system analyses required to develop quality plumbing designs
  • Work closely with other engineers, designers, and technicians to meet deadlines and client expectations
  • Manage shop drawings and submittals
  • Provide construction administration
  • Assist with project management on select projects
  • Manage project issues and resolutions
  • Provide feedback to Project Manager on standards and best practices
  • Provide our clients with quality service and on-time project delivery
  • Coordinate design reviews with internal Quality Management team

 

 Desired Skills

  • Certified Plumbing Designer
  • Authorized to work in the United States is a requirement for this role
  • Understanding of current building codes & regulations (especially NFPA 99 and FGI Guidelines)
  • Extremely responsive and dedicated to meeting expectations
  • Personable individuals who can earn the trust of others
  • Proven ability to work to tight deadlines in a team environment
  • Proven producer of detailed, thorough, and error free work product
  • Adept at prioritizing workload and proactively communicating to ensure deadlines are met
  • Ability to apply technical expertise quickly and offer clients strong solutions in the field
